 The Knowledge Base

We have an extensive library of hovercraft related articles submitted by our members. This collection continues to be a "group effort" and over the years has become a valuable source of information for anyone who wants to learn about hovercrafting.

How to Locate or Submit Articles:

Please make a selection from the article menus on the right side of this page. We have generally seperated the menus into two categories: Builder Menu (these are topics specific to hovercraft building projects), and the Cruiser Menu (here you can locate articles concerning the active use of hovercraft). Make your selection from the menu and then follow the links through to the section and category that best describes your topic of interest. Once you arrive at the category of interest you can then choose the article that you would like to read.

To submit an article please follow the links to the appropriate category for your topic, then select the New button to write and submit your own article for publication. You will have access to add or edit your own content whenever you re-visit your article(s). You can also write and post an article from the Members Menu (Members Only!) by selecting either My Content or Submit an Article. You can select the appropriate category for your article at any of these locations. If you are not sure, just leave it in the default Uncategorized position and the Administrator can place your content in the appropriate area.

Note: The Website Administrator will review your content and may contact you regarding questions or minor editing if necessary. You will always have access to edit your own content items even after they have been published.

Code of Ethics:
Besides reading and submitting articles you will also have the opportunity to comment on provided article subject material. We should all realize that suggested techniques or opinions submitted by authors regarding most topics may likely differ from your own. Please consider that this variation can be a very useful learning tool. Use this opportunity when commenting to contribute positively to the topic by using constructive criticism. We would like to encourage authors to write these articles, so please be respectful of their efforts. If you have a different technique or opinion then what is offered please add to our library by submitting your own article.

We are a family oriented community - keep your subject matter appropriate! Intentionally disrespecting other members will not be tolerated and may result in membership termination.
Including hovercraft relevant commercial links will be allowed at the discretion of the administration. These would include links to suppliers of parts, kits, services, events, or training specifically oriented toward the community interest of hovercrafting.

We're sorry, you must be logged into the website to post comments.
