TOPIC: HOVERCRAFT

 

After finally getting my foam and moving house the time has come to get started. Here is a cpl of pics:

Laid out and measured up

 

I've gone with a small rounded nose rather than the pointy one this will suit my cabin design better

Carbon fiber seats weigh in at around 7 lb

Looks good and making some progress. I like the seats, very cool!! I question the rounded nose, this could make for some issues with the skirt in the front. Not insurmountable but definitely going to make it more difficult. You will have to make multiple seams in the nose of the skirt to make that corner.

yes I agree ive made a few changes that will require a bit more time but im sure it will all workout in the end lol its glue up the hull this weekend and then I can really start to move ahead with the body design which I will have to build before I can put in the lift duct as it is quite radical design haha
